This came to the Consumer Inbox today and I thought I'd share it with the group.

I just wanted to let you know about a scam that is coming from Africa dealing with animals. I hope you make this known on your news broadcast. I was on a web site and saw an ad for a free Maltese puppy. I contacted the person. He told me he had to move to Africa for a job and he had a 14wk old puppy that was quarintend and not allowed in. He had to send her back to someone in the states. He wanted me to pay half the fare back. I advised I work for an airline and if I pay anything it will be directly to my company. He gave me the flight information. I asked him for the airway bill number. He has never contacted me back with that information. I contacted the airline and they told me they need his name, address, and phone number, my name address and phone number and the airway bill number. They also told me about the scam which I already knew about. I would like you to let others know about this scam.
Thanks Michelle!
Be careful animal lovers.
