Today on Eyewitness News at 4 we talked about home staging. If you have a house on the market and it is not moving, maybe the answer is getting someone to live in it for you. That's the idea behind Home Staging. There are several companies that offer the service in Houston. Here's how it works. The Home Staging company gets someone to live in your home, after you've left. The company works with the home manager to make the house look lived in, but not shabby. The home manager pays the staging company to live in the house plus utilities. Realtors say a home that has a "lived in" feel sells faster than a home that is empty. Home staggers say their properties sell in about 45 days.
