Part time jobs

Summer is right around the corner and a new jobs program is waiting for young people looking for work.

   The program is part of the federal stimulus package passed earlier this year and it will provide 4500 jobs for our area.

   The jobs are for those who meet certain financial requirements, for instance if you live alone you can not make more than $10,830.  A person living in a family of four can not have a family income of more than $22,500.

   The jobs are for people ages 14-24 and start next month.
