    The group "World Against Toys Causing Harm" has released the 2009 Top 10 Worst Toys list.

    The list includes toys that have small parts and long cords.

    Maclaren Baby Stroller Recall

    Today the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of about one million Maclaren baby strollers.  The strollers have the potential to cut the finger tips off of children.  The company has gotten 15 reports of children placing their finger tips in he hinge, 12 of them suffered finger tip amputations.

    The strollers were sold from 1999 to 2009 and were found at Baby's R Us and Target.

    The CPSC has a video showing the hinge in question and more on the specifics of the recall including the nine brands affected.

    Cash for Candy

    Today on Live at 5 we featured a Baytown doctor giving folks a dollar for every pound of Halloween candy they bring in to the office.

    Dr. Timothy Planty is located at 4750 East Freeway in Baytown.  Not far from there, Dr. Dean Hutto is also making the same deal.  He is located at 3800 N. Main Street in Baytown.
