    Maclaren Baby Stroller Recall

Today the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a recall of about one million Maclaren baby strollers.  The strollers have the potential to cut the finger tips off of children.  The company has gotten 15 reports of children placing their finger tips in he hinge, 12 of them suffered finger tip amputations.

The strollers were sold from 1999 to 2009 and were found at Baby's R Us and Target.

The CPSC has a video showing the hinge in question and more on the specifics of the recall including the nine brands affected.
