    Booster Seat Test

Today the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety issued a report on booster seats.

Some rated well, others were not recommended for use.

The report had its detractors.  The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association responded to the test by saying the report does not take into account real world conditions.

    Home Inventory

Today on Eyewitness News at 5 we talked about stolen stuff.  Right now thieves are looking to get their hands on your electronics and the smaller the better.  The Houston Police Department has a huge stolen property room, full of things that will probably never be reunited with the rightful owner.  The reason?  Most people do not have accurate records of their stuff.  Things like serial numbers and receipts can help you get your stuff back.

Check out the sample home inventory from the Texas Department of Insurance.

An added step that can get your stuff back to you, engrave your Texas Drivers License into the merchandise.
