If you are planning on moving soon, it may be a good idea to check out the moving company before you hire them.
The state of Texas requires movers to register with the agency and display the registration number on all trucks and in all advertisements.
The state's database on movers can provide you with a list of complaints and also let you know if the company is registered at all.
