Mortgage Assistance Program

 

For the millions of Americans who are out of work, or working far below their previous income level, paying their mortgage is a monthly challenge.

Now there is help on the horizon, but you do have to act fast.The Emergency Homeowners' Loan Program is a new program for unemployed or underemployed homeowners who behind on mortgage payments or are in foreclosure right now.

Rules for the program are available from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Money Management International is the local office handling the program.  On the right hand side of their website the words 'Apply Now' are written in green.  That link takes you to a 15 item questionnaire to let you know if you pre-qualify.
